Procedure Changes

Effective August 1st, 2020

At Neighbors United, earning your trust and keeping it is one of our priorities. To do so, we constantly review our policies and procedures to make sure we’re providing the highest level of security. In a recent review and in keeping with industry standards of best practices for credit unions, we will no longer verbally give balances or transfer between accounts over the phone effective August 1st, 2020. This change will not only provide an additional level of peace of mind for you but will also save you time!

We have been making investments in technology to help serve you more securely and efficiently! That means you can check your balances and transfer between accounts faster and more securely with the options below:

CU Voice: If using the phone is still your preferred method, you can safely check your balance and transfer funds by calling (864) 941-8900 and pressing 3 for CU voice. Be sure to have your member number and PIN handy!

Mobile Banking: Mobile banking allows you the very same safe, easy and fast convenience of online banking, but from the Apple or Android app on your smartphone! Watch this video for a brief introduction to mobile banking.

Don’t be anxious! If you’re not sure where to start just EMAIL US and we'll meet with you one on one and help you get started.
